api_session

rapidtools.models.api_base.api_session(retries: int = 3) → Session

Return a session with the retry policy used for provider API calls.

POSTs are re-sent automatically only after API_RETRY_STATUSES (429, 503, 529): statuses that guarantee the provider did not process, and therefore did not bill, the request. Other failures are reported to the caller instead of being silently repeated.

Parameters:

retries – Total retries per request.
